Oshanti is many things. You will find images and writing on art in various photographic forms, along with images from documentaries, and a few from commercial projects. Most images are just samples from larger projects. Some projects are complete, others may be well developed yet ongoing, while others are more of an exploration.
If you are interested in purchasing prints, most printed with pigment inks on archival high quality museum paper, feel free to contact me. See below for my email address. I also offer services of digital retouching of old photographs and artwork, along with printing your images on quality archival papers.

Biography
I became a photographer and artist in the 1980’s after studying photography at Columbia College in Chicago. My subject matter ranges several areas including landscapes, travel, people, abstracts, and documentary photography.
Other professions of mine include as a public school teacher (after getting a Masters in Education), project manager and corporate trainer for a software engineering firm, and as a technician in ophthalmology.
Following my love of the outdoors and the desire to contribute to society, I am a guide for the Sierra Club and have been introducing people to the outdoors for over 20 years. I also have volunteered as a Ranger Assistant for the National Park Service.
Another interest is in disaster relief. I volunteer with the Red Cross in their technology area called DST.
